Ryan Moore is hoping for more Royal Ascot glory on The Antarctic

Tipstrr’s racing experts have had a busy week in their mission to get one over on the bookies, and they’ve been at it again as they weigh up the rivalry between Ryan Moore and Frankie Dettori.

15:05 Jersey Stakes (Group 3) (7 furlongs)

The Jersey Stakes is a happy hunting ground for favourites, with five of the last ten renewals being landed by the market leader, including last year's 4/1 winner Noble Truth for William Buick and Charlie Appleby.

It's going to be an emotional final day at Royal Ascot for Frankie Dettori, but he will be looking to hold it together long enough to guide the short-priced favourite Covey into the winner's enclosure for another of his signature dismounts.
He's been going nip and tuck with Ryan Moore over the first four days, and this looks likely to see them in close proximity again on the approach to the line.

Moore is on board second favourite The Antarctic, who has only once finished outside the first three in ten career outings, including four wins and a couple of runner-up spots.

Three of those wins were in his juvenile season, but after putting his forgettable season debut in heavy going behind him, he looked much more at ease at Naas five weeks ago when he could feel the ground beneath his hooves, keeping on to win by a head from 14 rivals.

Aidan O'Brien has left his colt completely unexposed over this distance, but clearly believes that the way he ran on last time out bodes well for his stamina over this extra furlong.

Suggested bet: The Antarctic in the 15:05 at Royal Ascot
