Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes racing tip: Rohaan lines up Royal Ascot three-timer

Rohaan is bidding for his third Royal Ascot win

With 16 starters and most bookies paying out on five places, the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes offers no shortage of outsider value for Tipstrr’s each-way specialists to get their teeth into.

15:40 Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes (Group1) (6 furlongs)
Renamed in memory of the late Queen, the Jubilee Stakes saw all six winners between 2016 and 2021 priced lower than 5/1, which made last year's 33/1 victor Naval Crown something of an anomaly.
The early markets had Artorius, Wellington and Highfield Princess all jostling for the favourite tag, but that might eventually go to Kinross, whose price has been firming up, presumably following support for the notions that Frankie Dettori will add yet another Royal Ascot Group 1 to his collection.

However, those principals would do well to take heed of the David Evans-trained Rohaan, who is a four-time course-and-distance winner, including the Wokingham Stakes at this festival in both 2021 and 2022.

If those previous two Royal Ascot wins are anything to go by, there's no need to panic if Rohaan hasn't been mentioned before the furlong pole as he is renowned for doing all of his best work in the closing stages.

He did finish behind Kinross in the Champions Sprint here in October, but that never-nearer fourth was a rallying effort after being lost in mid-division until a couple of furlongs out.

His lacklustre showing on season debut at Salisbury four weeks ago can be forgiven as a first-time-out anomaly, as the Evans yard will have been priming him for this assault on a third Royal Ascot crown.

Suggested bet: Rohaan each-way in the 15:40 at Royal Ascot
